City Cloud Phone – Number Options
Get a brand new number or transfer your existing number
If you already have the perfect number or its on your business stationary we can move you number in the City Cloud Phone system. If looking local matters to your customers we can provide a different geographic number, so it’ll look like you’re in the same area.
To transfer existing numbers we carry out what’s called a number port, which moves the numbers you’re keeping onto your City Cloud Phone system. We’ll only need a few details of the numbers you want to move to City Cloud Phone and our customer services team will give you any information you need and a date for the move.
On the day your City Cloud Phone service goes live, the Customer Services team will check all of your phone handsets are ready and then complete the number port usually for the following day. The number port process can take up to four hours, but is typically done in 5 minutes. You may experience a short period of down time as the port takes place.
